I used to spend hours just running around and enjoying the scenery and talking about random stuff with strangers. I love the cutesy art style, the funny easter eggs and I treasure all of the good memories I have. I love Toram and I also love Iruna, but I hate the gameplay. You have to know *every* random pixel, *every* random fact about the game's system to have the slightest chance of staying up-to-date, and even then, who knows how the meta will change or how the economy will crash the next day. Farming bosses for Xtals and items that only add a minor bonus to your already very strong build, leveling this specific class this way and that one that way, multiplying four different numbers and stats to get +1 damage that probably doesn't crit anyway, spending ♥♥♥♥ knows how much on an item that gets sold the next day for half the price and so so much more. I've played many different MMOs before and they all have stupid stats and ranking systems that turn playing the game into a chore, but I never felt so constantly lost as in Toram. The game has been filled with cheaters recently and innocent people have been banned for no reason, despite having put thousands of hours into the game.īut the reason I constantly keep quitting Toram is most definitely because it is completely impossible to keep up with the meta. I've met wonderful people in-game who helped me level up and explained to me everything I should know about the game, but most of them ended up being 99+ days inactive. The community is either very good or very bad, depending on who you ask. There's also a scammy gacha system that obviously accepts credit card as well, besides the in-game currency. Toram is, of course, a free-to-play game and that means there is absolutely nothing you can do to escape hundreds of hours of grinding. When it comes to the bads, there's several things that have to be mentioned. I don't even know how many hours I've sunk into this game over the past 8 years, but it's hard to say that I regret all of it. Partially the nice art style that makes low-res sunsets beautiful, partially the amazing soundtrack (which by the way is completely available on the Asobimo Music app for free!), but also the interesting lore and map design, the limitless options in character customisation and overall light-hearted atmosphere. There is something about this game that always keeps pulling me back. For being a relatively old mobile game, it has a loyal userbase, active development and several things that make the game enjoyable. Pino offers only a conversation about herself although you may have to talk to her at some point during some Main Story Quests.Toram is by far my favourite MMORPG and it's not even close, but I could not recommend it to anyone in good faith. The place features an NPC named Pino which she is the former Chief Consul and the new Goddess of Wisdom according to the story. The Government Office is the branching area of Sofya City. The Library has a few NPCs in there other than Lilulu that you can talk to for information. Some of them also feature quests and conversations. Some shopping areas have a whole area to themselves such as Blacksmith, Synthesist, and Library. Sofya City includes shopping areas such as a General Store (NPC Sololo), Blacksmith (NPC Zaldo), Synthesist (NPC Mubia), Library (NPC Lilulu), and Resistle Merchant. Some NPCs have quests you can take, as well as being able to have a conversation with them. The 7 NPCs that can be found in Sofya City are Crow Scarer, Sentry, Zono, Yunis, Forf, Frente, and Lefina. Pino, the chief consul, and the current Goddess of Wisdom took the leadership and restored the city. The country and half of the city were destroyed by the Cataclysm but. The story of the city is told by an NPC named Sentry (In Sofya): "This city was named after the Goddess of Wisdom and it used to be a capital city of a country hundreds of years ago. Some areas you can reach from Sofya City are Rakau Plains, Underground Channel, and Land Under Development. The city features 7 NPCs, 5 Shopping Areas, and a branching area as well. Sofya City is the first town you encounter in the game.
